Patricia Robinson, PhD, ARNP, NE-BC
Patricia Robinson is the Senior Director for the Neuroscience Research Institute. She joined Florida Hospital in 2012 to direct the Center for Pediatric Research and Outcomes at Florida Hospital for Children. Her academic background, clinical practice and hospital administrative experience provides a balanced outlook ready for innovation. Dr. Robinson is also a highly regarded nurse scientist with a broad background in health research ranging from clinical studies to research management and development. She has a well-established history of external collaboration projects designed to advance the field of healthcare. She continues to distinguish herself as a leader both within her institution and in the broad field of healthcare as a healthcare ethicist, champion of the underserved, and change maker.
Delores Barnes, RN, BSN, CCRC - Neuroscience Research Manager
Delores Barnes earned her Associate Degree in Nursing in 1991 and was licensed as a registered nurse. She then earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1997 from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. Prior to starting clinical research in 2009, Delores had 15 years in cardiovascular clinical experience and pediatrics clinical experience. Delores has been manager of the Cardiovascular Research Department since 2015. She is a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC), and a member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) and the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA). Delores is instrumental in the partnership of research within the Cardiovascular Institute and physician practices to facilitate optimization of clinical research at Florida Hospital. She is presently enrolled in the Master of Business Administration and Master of Science Management and Leadership at Webster University.
